Apostle Willie Rookard is a man of integrity, distinction, and great faith. He received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at the tender age of nine, and as a young teenager, began his ministry in 1966 when he was ordained under the pastorate of the late Bishop Randolph “Hurricane” Jackson. From that moment forward, he has remained steadfast in his commitment to the Lord and the preaching of the Gospel.

His unwavering dedication to the Word of God has taken him to places he once never imagined, allowing his wisdom and prophetic ministry to speak words of encouragement, hope, and restoration to countless lives.

 

Apostle Rookard has been a faithful member of the church since 1960 and was installed as Pastor in 1998 after serving 23 years as Assistant Pastor, working tirelessly in numerous capacities. His dedication to God, his wife, his family, and the church is truly remarkable.

Known for his humble and personable spirit, Apostle Rookard remains deeply accessible to both colleagues and laity alike. Many pastors seek his prayer, wisdom, counsel, and spiritual covering, earning him the respected title of “a Pastor’s Pastor.” He continually pours encouragement into leaders who faithfully serve in ministry.

He greets everyone addressing each person as “my friend”, reflecting the love of Christ in every interaction.

 

Under his watchful leadership, vision, and spiritual guidance, Apostle Rookard has implemented innovative ministry procedures and expanded the reach of the Gospel throughout local communities, across states, and into foreign lands.

Though he is an anointed vocalist, his greatest fulfillment comes from preaching the Word of God and witnessing lives transformed through deliverance. He lives fully submitted to the Word and operates continuously under the unction of the Holy Ghost.
